After working as an Pediatric intensive Care Nurse for children, Anneke made the switch to medical research in 1996. Since then, she has held various positions such as clinical research associate, project manager, auditor, research consultant, and trainer. These activities are within various therapeutic areas, for both industry (pharma, medical device) and hospitals in the Netherlands and abroad.
Anneke is experienced in the development of e-learning-, blended- and classroom, monitor trainings. She gives WMO-GCP training to various professional groups and students involved in medical scientific research. She teaches research nurses and gives monitor training. Since 2020, she is also working as a home care worker at Buurtzorg Blaricum.
In her free time, she plays the saxophone in a band and a saxophone quartet, enjoys long walks with family, friends and her dog. She is a big fan of ski touring.
