Nico entered the field of clinical research after his PhD research about 30 years ago and never left it. He started as a Clinical Scientist at Brocades Farma, then co-founded and owned a CRO with offices in NL, B and FR (CRA BV) and has now been working within the TAPAS Group for over 10 years.

During that period, he has held a variety of positions in medical research, such as clinical research associate, project manager, trainer, auditor and medical writer in various therapeutic areas for both industry and hospitals.
Interests
In his spare time Nico likes to repair motorbikes and cars. He prefers to read science fiction and fantasy. He enjoys good food and spending time with his family with a blond or dark Belgian beer.
